Recording studios allow you to capture music in the highest possible quality. They allow you to cut off from the outside world a focus on the thing that’s most important – your music. As a producer my aim in any session is to look beyond the faders and towards you as the artist, bringing out the best possible performance and creating an environment where you can be comfortable and creative.

I’m very pleased to be working from the superb Eiger Recording Studio, along with a number of other great studios around Leeds. Whether you’re looking to record single or an album, a solo or a symphony, your music will be in safe hands.

Sometimes a recording studio may not be the right environment for your music. Maybe you want to utilise the visual aesthetic of a particular location by filming a performance, or perhaps you want to capture the unique acoustics of a certain space. In any case, mobile recording gives you the flexibility to transform any room, hall, or venue into a versatile recording space.

With 24 channels of simultaneous recording and and vast collection of microphones from Shure, Sennheiser, Bererdynamic, Aston, and Rode, no project is out of reach. If you’d like to discuss a mobile recording project relating to your band, orchestra, choir, or any other musical ensemble, please get in touch.

Mixing is where your recordings really come to life, and I'm a firm believer that it should be a fully collaborative process. You may have a particular sound or feel in mind for your music that goes beyond simply providing reference tracks. For this reason, all mixing projects are discussed in person before any mixing takes place. This enables us to better align our mutual vision for the final mix, and ensures that all work taken on is given the care and attention it deserves.

Mastering is the balancing of your final mix into a form that translates as clearly as possible across all sound systems and platforms. In some cases this can be as simple as raising the overall level to meet industry loudness expectations. However, where further alterations are required your music will be processed using a combination of professional analogue and digital tools to provide you with the most suitable ‘Radio Ready’ mastered versions of your music. All mastering projects are completed within 48 hours.
